Motor racing legend Dick Johnson today announced the launch of what he expects to become Australia¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s most exclusive high performance road car.

DJR High Performance is the name of an exciting new joint-venture between DJR and Herrod Motorsport building a unique performance-oriented BA-model Ford Falcon package for the serious driving enthusiast.

Called the ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?, this most exclusive of all Falcons features a race-bred range-topping 320kW V8 engine and sports chassis package, plus unique body, trim and equipment enhancements.

Only available direct from Johnson¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s race team, every ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? Falcon will be built to special customer order ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec| making each car unique.

Johnson explained that every ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? Falcon built will be individually numbered and only delivered to its owner after being personally road tested by the five-time Australian Touring Car Champion.

The ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? has been developed in a newly-established joint-venture between Johnson and renowned performance car engineer and Ford aftermarket specialist Rob Herrod.

DJR General Manager Steve Chalker explained that the relationship with Rob Herrod is the perfect fit with the race team¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s engineering.

"Together with Rob Herrod we have developed a race-bred package that delivers a very exclusive Falcon ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec|it¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s enhanced all-round in terms of performance, handling and comfort levels," Steve Chalker said.

Internal engine, exhaust and computer control modifications have given the ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? machine benchmark performance.

Underneath, race-bred engineering has created a sports suspension package that enhances the car¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s on-road performance without compromising ride quality.

The ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? wears a distinctive and effective rear wing, exclusive 19" alloy wheels shod with Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tyres, and unique front and rear badging.

Sporting the largest brakes of any Australian-made performance vehicle, the ¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec¡Ë¢çEcDJR High Performance 320¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec? is fitted with massive 365mm ventilated and slotted front discs with Alcon six piston monoblock calipers and equally impressive 343mm rear discs with four piston calipers.

Designed by DJR and manufactured in Australia by C2R, the unrivalled body enhancement kit is produced from injected moulded r-rim for strength and durability.

Adding a further touch of exclusivity the car¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s interior is completely retrimmed, featuring unique front and rear seats, a sports steering wheel, Momo gear knob and DJR instrument panel.
