Press Release

H&R is one of the leading manufacturers of suspension systems worldwide ? but that¡Ë¢çE¢®Ec?s not all; H&R is also one of the most important suppliers in international motorsports: among others H&R is exclusive supplier of the Porsche Carrera Cup and OE manufacturer for the Porsche models GT2, GT3 and Carrera GT.

The know-how from decades of successful motorsports involvement was also the basis for the development of the H&R suspension components for the new 997-series 911 Carrera.

H&R offers various levels of suspension tuning for the new sports car from Zuffenhausen: At the lowest level are TUV-tested TRAK+ wheel spacers for the production wheels. Depending on the mounted tire/wheel combination the track is widened by a minimum of 20 millimeters per axle. The wheel spacers optimize handling and give the coupe an even more striking appearance.

H&R sport springs for the new Carrera offer even more agile handling due to the lowered center of gravity. In extensive driving tests on the north circuit of the Nurburgring the H&R suspension engineers developed progressive-rate springs calibrated to the production shocks. They lower the ride-height of the two-door by some 30 millimeters.
