Six litres of Twin Turbo V12 goodness stonked under the hood and 1000Nm / 737 lbs of torque to boot.

SSC Ultimate Aero - 1500 bhp / 273 mph

With top speed runs scheduled for 2006 in the current 1046hp ultimate aero, SSC is looking to end the speculation and wind tunnel estimates once and for all and are coming up with a 1200HP twin turbo aero to take the world top speed crown with a top speed closing 270 mph. The car will have a more aero dynamic body and even less weight than the 2700lbs Ultimate Aero. Runs are scheduled through out the summer of 2006 plus Road and Track and MotorTrend will test the ultimate aero with Car and Driver testing it in 2007.

Apprantly thinking that the 1200hp, 2600lbs aero wasnt fast enough, SSC wants to further guarantee that the aero will knock the Veyron and S7 off the top and are building a 1500+hp version with 2400lbs weight.

This car is RUMORED to be the one that will run for the top speed record.




When will the horsepower & speed war end? Is this just the beginning of it all, or will this become the McLaren of the past decade.....

2006 Bugatti 16/4 Veyron Video - 2.42mins

I'm not sure if this is the new Top Gear video of the Veyron, but none the less, there is a nice 15 second or so video clip at the end showing the Veyrons brute acceleration by nailing 210km/h in what seems like only a matter of seconds.

Merry Christmas - Brabus Porsche Carrera GT

hey guys,

Today, being Christmas Day, I have created a "blog" for ExoticCarSite.com.

I aim to fill this up nearly every day with all the automotive news, reviews, links and information that I see through the various forums I frequent.

To start this off, it appears there is a Carrera GT getting around Europe with some aftermarket tuning. The thought of Carrera GT in stock form obviously not suiting someone with equisite taste in high performance enough, it appears to be tuned by Brabus. I wasn't going to introduce the blog until tomorrow, but couldn't pass up such a wonderful oppertunity to post something so extraordinary as a start up for the "blog"

Below are ten 1600x1200 resolution images of the Brabus Porsche Carrera GT.

EDIT: It appears this is just a regular spec Porsche Carrera GT that is being housed at the Brabus headquarters in Bottrop, Germany with no further modfications made to it.
